Delete your Beaver account and data
You can ask Beaver to delete your account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to make the request and exactly what is deleted and what is kept.
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.
How to request deletion
The fastest way to delete your account and data is in the Beaver app:
- Open the Beaver app and go to Settings.
- Tap Danger zone → Delete account.
- Withdraw any remaining funds first — deleting your account does not withdraw your crypto, and any assets left in your wallet can only be reached with your wallet keys.
- Type Delete my Beaver Account to confirm.
- Press and hold the delete button until it completes.
You can also request deletion by emailing hello@trybeaver.app from the address on your account. Include the words "delete my account" so we can route the request quickly; after verifying that you control the account email, we will delete the account and confirm by reply.
What is deleted
When your deletion request is processed, the following data is removed from Beaver's active systems immediately:
- Your account profile and email address
- Wallet records and crypto card addresses
- Bank connections, linked bank accounts, and banking-provider customer records
- Transaction history, round-ups, trade orders, and withdrawal records
- Manual receipts and on-chain tracking records
- Investment rules and policies
- Notification preferences and push notification devices
- Social profile, invites, and referral history
- Product audit events tied to your account
What is kept or cannot be deleted
- Blockchain data. Transactions from your wallet are recorded on public blockchains. Blockchain data is public, permanent, and outside Beaver's control — neither we nor you can delete, amend, or restrict it. Anyone can inspect a wallet address and its history.
- Minimal deletion record. We keep a small internal audit record that an account was deleted (internal account identifier and timestamp only — no email address or account contents).
- Records we must keep by law. Some records may be retained for legal, regulatory, sanctions, and anti-money-laundering compliance. Where this applies, we restrict the data rather than erase it, as described in our privacy policy.
- Infrastructure backups. Encrypted infrastructure backups may contain residual copies of your data until they expire in the normal course of backup rotation.
Before you delete
- Withdraw any funds remaining in your wallet. Deletion does not withdraw your crypto, and Beaver cannot recover assets or wallet access after the account is deleted.
- If you simply want to stop investing, you can pause round-ups in Settings without deleting anything.
