# Investing without a monthly subscription

A subscription is one part of the cost. Compare it with the fees for deposits, investments, sales, and withdrawals.

## A simple example

A $4 monthly fee totals $48 over a year. If you contribute $30 each month, your annual contributions total $360. These are contribution and fee figures, not a forecast of investment returns.

## Beaver’s fees

Beaver has no monthly subscription. Investments cost 1%, sales 2.5%, and withdrawals 0.10%. Stablecoin deposits are free; other deposits cost 0.10%.

## Other ways to automate

You can also compare recurring investment options at a brokerage. Review its fees, minimums, and investment choices. Round-ups are one way to schedule contributions.
